Trying to catch up, step back, evaluate my busyness, center myself… you know the routine.
Took some time to enjoy the weather and God’s creation

We sure are enjoying fresh vegis from our “experimental farm”.
It’s no secret I love photography, so stumbling upon this was like receiving a gift.

fun thing i did ~ last night Mark and I enjoyed a dinner cruise out on the beautiful Sarasota Bay, compliments of a couple local businesses… one of the rare perks of being in the construction industry.
What a great way to do some networking… with each other 
productive thing i did ~ purged my clothes closet… feels so good!

Last weekend we celebrated the life of our friend Lou, who went to be with the Lord on December 22 after a 12 year battle with cancer. A gifted young man and friend, wrote this song and sang it that evening. I so wish I had the audio to share with you (one day!), but take a minute and read these lyrics by the one and only Jordan Hamilton.

In anticipation of the porch swing Mark is building for me, I found this lovely print at Pier 1 to hang next to it on the porch. It makes me happy.
And finally, my most favorite part of this past week?
Finding an old friend on my bookshelf and now I can’t put it down…
I love Fridays because it’s the end of the week and I get to spend the morning with a wonderful group of women being challenged and encouraged. We are watching a Beth Moore DVD series on Revelation, Here and Now, There and Then. It’s great!
